LYRICS
As you have probably figured out already, all of these songs are by The Residents, the dudes known for wearing giant eyeballs on their heads. If you're like most people, you might have heard of them, but have had little reason to have bought any of their albums. You might have known someone who enjoyed their music quite a bit, and their slobbering fanatacism turned you off to them before you ever gave the band a chance. It's also possible that you have already given the band a fair chance and decided that they really weren't your thing. If that's the case, I'm sorry I made this mix for you.
This mix isn't really intended to convert anyone. I've been listening to these jerks' albums for years now, and I can honestly say that they aren't for everyone and that they've got some albums that are utter garbage. But, they've got some good, and even some great, songs that you all deserve to hear.
If you like these songs: awesome!
If you like them enough to want to explore the Residents further: please ask me any questions you have. I'd be glad to offer recommendations. For starters, head here to find nearly all the known info on the Residents, except for their identites.
If you hate these songs: that's perfectly okay.
NOTE: I can't access the Noise Board from work any more, so I'll only be able to respond to this thread at night. You can send me an email at ddines at onebeacon dot com for a quicker reply.
