The design that receives the most votes will be used for this year's Noise Board softball shirts. As the results of this poll actually matter, please be honest and vote only once (that's once per person, not once per Noise Board persona).

A few notes:

• These are not actual size. I've posted smaller, low-res versions of the designs for the purposes of this poll.
• The printed version of Design 4 will include the artist's signature at the bottom (very small), which I've removed to retain anonymity for the poll. That's really just a formality, of course, as I'm sure a number of you will recognize this person's work.
• The more colors a design uses, the more expensive the shirts will be. It should only be a difference of a few dollars per shirt at the most, so I don't think it's that important, but if cost is a factor for you, keep it in mind when voting.

Finally, a huge thank you to all of the people who submitted designs this year. I am so impressed with the quality of all of these. You have the gratitude of the whole softball crew.

I think #5 best represents what NB softball is all about, however, #4 represents what I wish NB softball was all about - hot, drunk, scantily clad women sexually molesting the equipment.

Without even looking at the poll numbers I can predict that #4 will win, and it's just killing me 'cause it has no music references. What hey, I'm a literalist. Seriously, the genius factor of the 03 shirts is the melding of baseball and music. Can I just order an 03 shirt so I can pretend I was there for something I wasn't, the same way I pretend to know something about early-90s Boston rock?

Those are all REALLY FUCKING cool. I voted for 6 but the hotchick one is dope, as is the ACDC - shit they're all awesome. That bottom one takes it though.

I liked last year's design for the same reason, but I don't really feel like the design has to contain an overt reference to music (let's face it, most of the posts on the board don't either). I just want something that seems to capture the spirit of Noise Board softball.

#6 is the best. Wins for relevancy and clarity.

Why am I not suprised that you're the only person to write something insulting so far. Calling 2 of the designs lame is pretty nasty - they are all awesome - you could be one of the most negative people I hope to never meet in person.

People need to remember that this design is going on a t-shirt, and not a poster or website. Ilike the simple ones best. Number 2 and Number 5. Except I would never wear Number 5 because of the cigarette. Had that not been there, it would have gotten my vote. Well, if I was logged in.

I agree with T-Bone. #5 really represents what goes on when we play. I love #4, but it looks like what goes on back at my place after the game.

Yeah, except for the fact that the person is depicted catching the ball. Other than that, it's dead on.
