I liked this mix. I've played in a few times in my car over the last few weeks. Lots of notes and musicianship!

I'll make some notes on the bands, more for my amusement than anyone else's.

Medications - Former members of Faraquet. Good band, no drummer at the moment, but they play shows in DC here and again.

Ahleuchatistas - Played a show with these guys a few months ago. Great live show. They lost their drummer less then a month before going on tour and somehow got a new guy to come in and learn all of this comlicated as fuck music in that short time.

Boud Deun - Band out of Virgina, broke up in 2001. The guitar player now lives in New Haven, leads a group called Preseter John.

The Cancer Conspiracy - Most people probably know more about this band than I do. Drummer is now in Township, winners of the WBCN Rumble a few years ago.

Cinemechanica - Math rock band out of Athens, GA. Probably better known for their label, Hello Sir records.

Battles - A well known band, former members of Helmet and Don Caballero. These guys are really hit or miss for me, but when it's good it's really good.

Behold...the Arctopus - Metal band out of NYC, "bassist" plays a Warr Guitar.

Dysrhthmia - Same label and same vein as Behold...the Arctopus.

Isis & Aereogramme - Isis is pretty famous around Boston...no idea where this specific recording came from, it just ended up getting thrown into my iTunes mixed with a ton of stuff from a friend, and I've been enjoying it ever since.

Shellac - I'll just skip this one.

Tall Firs - NYC band, totally different from anything else on here. Ecstatic Peace band. Drummer was in At The Drive In back before anyone had heard of them. One guitarist is the studio engineer and front of house sound guy for Sonic Youth. Also, that guitarist is my brother.
