had this on in the car today...during the misfits track an out of control speeding teenage girl almost smacked into my car.
My son was THRILLED with the beat and singing on some tracks (he's 5, by teh time he's a teenager this will be OLDIES music)....still haven't listened to whole CD yet....

PS - I haven't heard ERUPTION by VAN HALEN all summer until now!!!! I needed that!!! and to hear it next to ANOTHER track was genius! jarring yet pleasing

Thanks for the feedback Frank. Sounds like you might be raising a future punk or metalhead-nice!
A few notes on my mix: this is a slightly modified version of a playlist that I listen to all the time during my workouts, so it has been designed to be highly motivating, sort of an audio adrenaline rush. That is one of the reasons I say it is best listened to loudly.
This is a good sampling of the type of music I listen to all the time.
From listening to the other mix CD's, I expect mine will not be for everyone. That's ok.

wrapping up the tail end, I really liked that MUDHONEY track.....I didin't have the listings with me in the car and it was hard to place them doing that track.....
and seriously folks - VAN HALEN to WHITE ZOMBIE....jarring but pleasing!!!!!
It's like your ears are coming off one elevator and expecting the comfort of VH covering the Kinks.....but your on another completely different level.....and it's good

The Mudhoney track is from Superfuzz Bigmuff.
It's hard to believe I am the only person to put GWAR on their mix.
