So... This friend of mine has had a couple romps in the hay with a nice young lady. She's sweet, and fun, but seems to consistently have some pretty bad odor. This is his first time really being bothered by this smell. And this guy is a Stud, so he's had a few romps in the hay before. laughing.gif

1) Is this just something that affects some women permanently, or can it always be corrected?

2) How the hell does a man even bring up the topic without sounding like a chauvenist and hurting feelings?

I'm hoping that some women will chime in here...

Abs
maybe your friend should try doing it with this girl in the shower.

Your Friend could certainly approach the subject from the stand point that he understands just how touchy a subject it is and that his concern is not for his enjoyment but rather for her health.

Your friend should also expect to never have sex with this woman again.

She probably has a yeast infection. She can go to CVS to purchase a remedy. I think if she likes your friend, she'd probably like to know if something's bothering him, so she can deal with it, rather than let it become a major issue when it's something so simple to fix.

I've never gone back to a bad buffet for seconds...

It sounds more like Bacterial Vaginosis than a yeast infection.

maybe your friend confuses the vagina with the butthole.

there is no good way to tell a woman she's got a reeking vag. I did it once...game over. and all it was was the spermicide she stuck up there with the sperm trampoline.

Alright, alright, ALRIGHT!!

Gosh!! confused1.gif is this really such a problem out there??

Clearly...you do this;

you = *sniff* hey? Do you smell something funny?/
she = I dunno smile.gif
you = I don't know,..something smells rancid!!
she = uh oh sad.gif (unless she's completely dumb...she'll put it together)

if she doesn't?? That's just nasty. Tell your friend to dump her.

Tell "your friend" that a mal odor is not something "permanent". Women's pooty should not smell bad.

She has an infection, either yeast or bacterial. If it is the bacteria Trichamonas, it can be passed between "your friend" and this chick if they had unprotected sex. It is an STD. Since there are typically no symptoms for the guy, he could actually have given it to her, that is, if he didn't use a condom. It is easily remedied with medication, but both partners have to be treated at the same time.

Talk to her, get it treated, go on with life.

Is it possible for a woman to have a yeast infection and not know it?

Maybe she's aware of the odor, but doesn't know what to do about it. How the hell should I know? If she's never had one before, it's possible. That's why he should talk to her. It's not that big of a deal.

Maybe the odor doesn't bother her.... Kind of like how I like the smell of my own fart.

apologies in advance

guy gets on an elevator w/a woman
door closes
he says, "excuse me, but... can i smell your feet?"
shocked, she says, "NO, of COURSE not!"
"oh," he says, "must be your pussy, then."

If, in the unlikely event I should ever find myself in an intimate situation and I noticed a foul odor emanating from anywhere on my person, out of personal pride I would be so horrified that I would have to stop the proceedings. The embarassment would kill any desire right there. But that's just me. Women are perfectly capable of monitoring themselves with respect to odor. If not, as someone so eloquently stated, don't go back to a bad buffet for seconds.

If you have to mention it, do you really want to be with that chick anyway?

Yup.
