my ma got 'em for me for christmas, and I made her take back all the other clothing she got me.... besides, tooling around in my office with cubicle is kinda my puttering around the garden look. (my hair is as long as it's ever been only partially out of laziness... the other part is the dean I work for is driven nuts by it... and since we hate each other.... anyhow, the shoes completely fit in),

and with everyone having to take their shoes off at the security line at the airport, it's nice to have shoes that slip on and off.
