I wouldn't worry too much about it. I had to explain the term to a couple of lady friends that came to the show with me. A lot of people have no idea what it means.

It was there, but I think Lee Arthur felt like rocking something else for a change. The T-Bird is great though!!!! I do like the Geddy Lee bass as I always refer to it as!!! Don't forget about Lee's yellow Fender P Bass. That should be making an appearance in TX next week!!!

Well, I don't own the 'Hoods 7". I asked Rick Harte for a copy but lost touch with him. Someone told me he sold them one for $20. I don't want to spend $20 on a 7" that I will probably find in some store for $2 (and that I have on CD already).




The CD version DOES sound different. I noticed that the second I put it on.

Ok so now let's get Rick Heart to put out the Hoods unreleased 1st album!

I've heard a rough copy of the recording and it amazing to me that it never came out in some form.

Innocence Lost and Mr Reeves ...two of my favorite Hood's songs.

From what I hear, those recordings don't do the songs justice. I'd rather have them just re-do the songs (as long as they don't slow down the tempo like they did in later versions).

I also heard that their was an album that was supposed to come out right before "Fire is Coming" that never came out.

I'll put "Innocence Lost" and "Mr. Reeves" up on the MySpace page sometime this weekend for a few days or so.

Right, I know those two songs came out on the Wasted Years compilation. ...but I don't know, I think Minehan was going for more of a Jam like sound back in those early days. It sounded cool. I'd still love to see those early recordings released.

I'll agree though that some of those songs sound much better done with the heavier Les Paul and Marshall sound that the Hoods evolved into.
