I only saw The Hoods 3 times back in the day. It was the early 90's to be exact. The Campus Club - Providence, RI 10-30-91, Club Babyhead - Providence, RI 2-92 & Club Babyhead - Providence, RI 10-21-92. I also missed them 3 times: When they opened for Tin Machine at the Campus Club (I got there late. I heard them finishing up their last song as I was on my way into the venue), The Big Gig at Great Woods (There was 80+ bands playing that day. I had no idea when the Hoods would be on. They where on before I got there.) & Fall Fest on the Common (I was trying to find a parking space when they where on. I saw them onstage when I drove by a couple times).

I would have been pissed...shit...or probobly would have drowned my sorrows!!!
I've seen Oh so many I can't even remember...they all blend together after awhile.
But I've missed so many too mostly in the 90's(but seen some too)....but I'm ready for round 2 (maybe) well see!!! The addiction is sometime unbearable!!! Right about now I could use a Fix!!!

It was so darn crowded I couldn't even get a drink at the bar...I was up back hangin by the sound board!!!
Sittin on the Reelin near the bar (had a great view from the back)...Toys R Us Kids!!!

I saw quite a few up close pic from Kevin Gagnon's camera in the up stairs bar after the show...had to collect one of the sisters that didn't make it in( SOLD OUT SHOW) but she didn't care she hung out with some old friends... Franks (the bartendar kept feeding her drinks).

Kevin emailed me a few but that was it and some how someone on my end of the family deleted them!!!

Shit...alot of songs for just a Video Game...I stink at those games!!! This will be a good Xmas Gift for the
son, then I can watch him play and listen to all the great music....

So far, during Hoods II, I've seen the Middle East show, the Ralph's show and the Area show in my hometown - Newport RI.

There was something special about that Middle East show. Probably the excitement of seeing them for the first time since October 1992. It was their first time going out as "The Neighborhoods". The Phoenix article before the show.

I remember JL bringing out his kit with a big 'ol Neighborhoods logo on it. Fast Ed up there sound checkin' away. And then they boys took the stage. I know a lot of people are kind of down on some of their later stuff. I always liked it just fine. I like all their stuff. I just thought Hangin', with the "good to be back from the dead" line was the perfect opening song.

Well the show was a Benefit for Right Turn, for when sometimes we take that Left Turn instead in life, and headed the wrong way...sometimes without even knowing it but, shit happens...and things most certainly can turn around..and they have...so everybody Chin Up!!! Was a nice show!

This Disease really SUCKS...No Pun Intended...my son has had it and it can be quite bothersome.
It has affected by sons joints (Arthritis)...and lately its been his eye site...a bacterial infection to his cornea,
it can last a long time...then kind of go dormant and then kick up again!!! SUCKS!!!

Lets hope Dave stays healthy and no complications. Amen.

I love the Hoods, but my favorite band at the moment isnt listed...bummer...they didn't make the cut I guess! (Coheed and Cambria)...sorry Dave!!!
