5 Year Old Beat Down Options

A friend of mine showed me a thread on another board that posed this question:

How many 5 year-olds could you take in a fight at once?

The specifics:

- You are in an enclosed area, roughly the size of a basketball court. There are no foreign objects.
- You are not allowed to touch a wall.
- When you are knocked unconscious, you lose. When they are all knocked unconscious, they lose. Once a kid is knocked unconscious, that kid is "out."
- I (or someone else intent on seeing to it you fail) get to choose the kids from a pool that is twice the size of your magic number. The pool will be 50/50 in terms of gender and will have no discernable abnormalities in terms of demographics, other than they are all healthy Americans.
- The kids receive one day of training from hand-to-hand combat experts who will train them specifically to team up to take down one adult. You will receive one hour of "counter-tactics" training.
- There is no protective padding for any combatant other than the standard-issue cup.
* The kids are motivated enough to not get scared, regardless of the bloodshed. Even the very last one will give it his/her best to take you down.

Here is a story that may or may not surprise you.

I worked in an afterschool program ( grades 1-6 )
Long story short - we had a first grader that had some "anger problems" and had been taken off his meds ( without his parents informing us of that.)

A situation occurred that got incredibly out of hand ( and without me getting into the very lengthy story) it took THREE of us to restrain him until his mom got there. He was only 6 years old and barely 60lbs. He ripped out a chunk of my hair, bruised up my shins ( kicking ) and threw sand in my eyes ( blinding me for a moment ) - he also ripped the front of another teacher's shirt open, and bit the arm of the very large, very strong 300 lb child psychologist so badly she had to get a tetanus shot ( and it was bleeding and purple. )

So, don't underestimate the strength of a young kid. You'd be surprised what they can do ( Another problem 6 year old in the program also came after me with a pair of shears - right at my stomach - and swung one of those black metal sheet music stands at my head and missed me by inches)
