Fuck. There's tears streaming down my face and I didn't even know her.

It's sad when anyone dies, but it sounds like kristen was really creative and nice. That's horrible what happened to her.

Maybe a few top notch Boston bands should get together for a bennefit show to help pay for medical bills.. funeral. She was part of the Boston music scene. Hopefully someone's already working on this.

Someone's already spoken to the Middle East about some sort of event when it feels like people are ready. There's been an ongoing discussion on the Honeypump board.

This sounds so stupid I know...but it's always more tragic when it was someone loved by all. I lost a good friend a while back who was the most outgoing/personable guy there is. The type everyone admired. Man it just really sucks when the truly good one's
are taken much too soon.

Telling stories to remember her is the best way to honor her...keep them going.

Does anyone remember when she did that "Relationship Resume"? Howie just found it in a pile of papers. She had written this corporate style resume with objectives, experience, and such, only applied it to the relationships in her life. We were laughing about it when he first brought it home a couple of years ago, now it's just making us sad.

This is a horrible loss for everyone. Her family, her friends, her acquaintances, Boston music - I wouldn't wish this on anyone but WHY HER?!

If you want to see some of Kirsten's work, like the "Love Resume Project" go to http://loveresumeproject.com and, of course, the faux's website thefaux.com.
She was a one of a kind force of nature.

I really hate to see her go. This is just awful news. I've known her for going on 10 years, just from being around and about (like she always was). A beautiful, giving, creative dynamo.

I'm so sorry for her family, her friends, her band ... I'm sorry for people who never got to know her. I didn't know her at all, and this hurts a whole lot just the same.

Deb, thank you for keeping us posted.

Yeah, I still have a stack of books she let me borrow when I had surgery in '95. I'd meant to try to look her up for years but didn't know if she even still lived around here... Helped out anyone whenever she could.

Great girl, I'll miss her.

The website for the Faux is http://thefaux.com/ and I was just on it.
It's working just fine - but it does use a lot of memory.
There is a great picture of Lady K playing crazy keyboards.
