One Night Band is a creative experiment in which a selection of Boston musicians will be teamed up randomly in bands of five and given exactly one day to come up with a set to play that night. Each band must prepare three original songs and one cover for their set. The results could be anything: Unlikely musical matches made in heaven? Exquisite disasters? Come see what happens. Support local music!

Proceeds from this show will benefit Zumix, a youth music organization located in East Boston. Zumix's mission is to empower youth, who use music to make strong positive change in their lives, their communities, and the world.

The event is organized by Boston Band Crush, a local blog covering and championing Boston music.

See you in the trenches,
Duncan

Good luck with your book, Duncan. Hope you sell enough to make enough money to pay your rent and eat well for a year.
