Hey pal, I ain't no republican. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that I'm more "liberal" than you. My local gun shop is running an excellent sale right now, and I just couldn't let these deals pass me by. So, cram it, you turkey.

Is that why they are rushing to buy guns right now or is it because it's deer season?

Is that why they are rushing to buy guns right now or is it because it's deer season? The report I saw said that in particular, some people are rushing to buy semi automatic rifles, as they think that Obama and the Dem Congress will reinstate the ban on these types of weapons. No, I don't get it either. |

Those people in the article are morons. They seem to be mostly hunters in rural areas. Nobody but the kookiest of the kookiest gun control nuts would want to take their guns away. |

The Dems are smartening up and realizing that gun control is a dog of an issue, and only hurts them. Obama praised the recent Supreme Court reversal of the DC handgun ban and DNC chair Howard Dean, himself highly rated by the NRA when he was VT governor, seemed to really talk sense into the candidates in the 2006 election.
