As Nate Silver notes on fivethirtyeight.blogspot.com, his estimates show Obama with an eight point lead, and the CBS poll has trended 3 points on the Obama side all campaign. Throw in the staistical margin of error, and you get to 14 points. That said, it is a projected 8 point lead with under 3 weeks to go. |

im not giving up on the bradley effect and our fundamentalist country's proclivity for racism yet im very interested to see how much there still is I think the bradley effect is bunk. It's an untestable theory. You may as well just vote for McCain because it seems to me that you really want him to win. |

I think the bradley effect is bunk. It's an untestable theory. You may as well just vote for McCain because it seems to me that you really want him to win. Note that in the Bradley case, the race was down to a statistical dead heat at the time of election. He had not maintained the lead he had earlier. |
