it was pretty cool i guess. i got to sleep in a ritzy beach house and had my own suite... girl brought her chaperone along and we've seen each other off & on since april. at first i was resigning it to friendship (no, ELK; there's no threesome shit potential); but she called me today. she's not 19.

yes! every time i see this woman she brings her friend. it makes sense the first couple of times, or if she weren't interested in anything more than friendship, but come on! she directly asked me if i was interested in her at one point recently - i said i am, but i don't want to be rude to the friend and all... i think the friend is very needy and afraid of losing her - they go everywhere together. i believe that i will resign this one to friendship, anyway. Hahahahaha I thought of that last night when the guy in Dunkin Donuts leaned across the counter and said "how are you doing" in a slick voice. I'm not sure if he caught me rolling my eyes or not. He was so distracted he forgot my coffee - All I could think of was I have to catch a bus

She might be interested in you - but not on the level you want her too - and it sounds like she has some odd attachment/need for detachment from her friend. We're older - do you really want someone who's just lonely and desperately wants to be with someone? I know I don't..... there is nothing more of a turnoff. A balance is good - wants to be with YOU but also has their own life going on.
