I will never understand the whole argument that after a woman has been with a rich guy and they split that she is "entitled to the style of life with which she has become accustomed."
Fuck you. You lived off of his money, now you don't. Time to get a job. Sure, if they want to make him send her a monthly check for a couple years to help out with rent and food, fine. But the idea that the husband has to continue to make sure she is living a ridiculously swank lifestyle makes no sense to me. |

McCartney is a dumbshit for getting married without a pre-nup.
But yeah, she basically had the British court system rob him for her. Can we get some divorced women to comment on this? |

Unless a kid is involved, a woman shouldn't get a fucking dime after the ink dries.

Paul McCartney's estimated bank balance of 725 million puts him top on the Mail on Sunday's Rich Report 2004 for musicians. Sir Paul McCartney's wealth is bigger than the combined fortunes of Sir Elton John, Sir Mick Jagger and Madonna. McCartney was a singer, songwriter and guitarist for The Beatles, the biggest rock band of the 1960s. In 1957 Paul McCartney was invited to join John Lennon's band The Quarrymen. Eventually George Harrison and Ringo Starr joined and the new band became The Beatles. Almost all of their songs were written by McCartney and Lennon, who produced classics from "A Hard Day's Night" and "Yesterday" to "Let It Be" and "Hey, Jude." McCartney released his first solo album in 1970, just before the break-up of The Beatles. McCartney soon formed the band Wings (featuring his wife, Linda), touring extensively and recording albums including Band on the Run and Venus & Mars. Throughout the 1980s and '90s McCartney continued to record and perform, and was awarded the MBE in 1997, making him Sir Paul McCartney. After Linda McCartney died of breast cancer in 1998, he became more publicly active in charitable causes. McCartney married model and activist Heather Mills on 11 June 2002 at Castle Leslie at Glaslough in County Monaghan, Ireland. Their daughter Beatrice Milly was born in O

...a billionaire for writing great songs, not that anyone needs that kind of money. He is more likely a billionaire for getting involved with the publishing of songs from other artists. He was shrewd enough to realize after all the b.s. of the Beatles business that the real money was owning song catelogues. Anyway, his marriage to Heather Mills was very shortly after Linda's death. I think the guy was in a haze of mourning at the time of his marriage to Heather. Paul still has a child with Heather. I feel bad for the guy because he should be not worrying about this stuff at his age. |

And she's got the nerve to complain: The judgment included £35,000 ($70,000) a year for the couple's 4-year-old daughter, Beatrice. Mills said she was unhappy with that amount because it isn't enough for school tuition, private security, or first-class airfare. "He likes her to fly five times a year on holiday," Mills said of McCartney. "It's £17,000 for two people return (round-trip) first class, so that's obviously not meant to happen for her anymore. It's very sad." ------ Fucking heartbreaking, that is. |
