That was a pretty kickass set except for the 'bands wearing their own shirt' thing. Bringin' on the Heartache especially tickled me.

We actually talked about that beforehand... Def Lep ALWAYS wore their own shirts on stage. But Brooks & I hit just about every Hot Topic & Newbury on the eastern seaboard, over the last few days, and we still couldn't find any DL shirts... So we figured the Def Lux shirts were close enough.

Holy shit, I'm total garbage, this morning. One of the most fun gigs I've ever played, though. Thanks to the Motion Sick for setting the whole thing up.

Ok, you can have an exemption, but don't get me started on your drummer using both arms!

Bobby Dall kept asking me not to wear it before or after our set.

All the ladies kept grabbing it!

I had the same thought. "If these guys don't absolutely nail this they're gonna look like assholes."

But they nailed it.

This show ruled and I'm definitely glad I spent my Halloween there instead of at some lame frat party.

it's tough to do stadium bands at TTs... next time you should set up a catwalk(sturdy table) out into the crowd from the stage. I think porsches on the autobahn did that once. pretty funny shit.

ziggy was amazing btw.

I assume he didn't record us as well, but if he did, I'd exchange a few small children or some licorice for it.

I don't think he did, but I'll ask. I know he's not interested in small children.

There is also this little number:

Man, this show was so funny. Please ignore my attempt to do Joe Elliott's "sing along with the really high guitar part" thing in the beginning.

My friend who videotaped us got a bit of the Def as well (a song and a half or something). I can post it somewhere for you to download if you'd like. The sound is totally clipped and terrible, but you could actually resync it with the audio you've got if you wanted.
