There doesn't seem to be any information on Dr. Lawrence Britt, or Laurence Britt. There isn't even a consensus on the spelling of his name, or if he really is a doctor or PhD. One site claims that he's a political scientist, but I couldn't find any of his published writings.

The Britt article started with what is happening in the U.S. and then crafted a description of fascism that only highlights those points that will support the thesis. This is a logical fallacy (the false notion that things that are similar in some aspects are identical in all aspects).

Okay. That's pretty much the exact sentiments of the video, put down in text. I was just wondering why he hasn't published anything else (in serious social science journals) or why you can't find his credentials.

Don't you agree that he is falsely labeling the admin with fascism by pointing out their similarities, while ignoring any differences, to prove his point? The Bush administration is a horror show, and is leaning toward fascism, but it just bugs me that people read this crap and then think that they’re informed and no better than the rest of us. Even though I agree with parts of this stuff, I can’t start reading what any random guy with no available credentials or references, feels like writing about. That would be like deciding who to vote for based on someone's blog.
