seriously i started a "what's your favorite power pop album" thread in the music forum but as we all know not many people go there and i really wanted to here anyone and everyone's opions so please jump on over to the music forum and make your choice known. thanks.

this smacks of those tv shows that back themselves into a corner, and then make the whole thing into a dream sequence...and yet...

the title of this post was absolutely meant to be humorous and maybe show that last week is behind me. i'm really not looking to drugde that stuff up but rather would love to have everyone or at least everyone who loves power pop stop by the music forum and have some fun with my most favoritest topic.

In an effort to preserve Hank Aaron's HR record, Bud Selig ended the MLB regular season last Friday and the Red Sox won a one-game, 5-inning rain-shortened World Series matinee against the Brewers on Monday. There was a parade through downtown Waltham (the biggest the city has seen since Fred Smerlas's retirement from the NFL). I am really sorry you missed it.

So far this week has been lame though.

Thats what I figured...and thought it was a pretty clever way to do so...

well, I better head over to the power pop thread and see how bad my selection is being ridiculed smile.gif

i should probably mention that bmo staged an intervention/exorcism. marsman and ackackackack held me down while bmo bound me with skinny ties. they then forced me listen to sunny am bubble gum pop and watch videos of skinny tie power pop bands like the boys and the vapors with toothpicks keeping my eyes open clockwork orange style.
