Well, there's no denying that you're moving on to a worthier project. I'm fairly certain that being a mom to a newborn--while similar in some ways to being a Moderator here--will be significantly more rewarding. Do know that your work here was greatly appreciated by many, myself included. I'm aware that it was a thankless job, but your efforts brought a lot of local music to a lot of new ears, and I hope you feel good about that. The podcasts, in particular, couldn't have happened without you, and there was some serious greatness in those. Thank you for everything, and best of luck to you and Matt. It assuages my perpetual sense of impending doom to know that some of the good ones are procreating. I just hope you can find a board on which to post baby pictures, damn it.

You were nothing but awesome and supportive. I loved working with you on the podcasts. I've had a lot of affection for this place. People say "just a messageboard" but it really was special for so many reasons and a lot of people put their hearts into it. I think more than anyone else, you really made this board what it was when it was great. Thanks again for everything. |
