Found my response from before:

Not necessarily. Rabbit allergies are fairly common. I'm actually allergic to them, and I have 5. After about a month the allergy subsided quite a bit as I adjusted to them. Also, regular grooming keeps them in check and rabbits love being brushed, so it helps bond to the arbbit to you, too.

My recommendation would be to foster a rabbit from a shelter. That way, you can see if you are rabbit compatable and also help out an abandoned rabbit.

Here's a link about rabbit allergies

Here's the Las Vegas House Rabbit Society

If you get serious about adopting, PM me and I'll tell ya everything you need to know about getting started, what to expect, etc etc. House rabbits are freaking awesome, and they need help- they're the 3rd most popular pet yet the most abandoned. OK, I'll exit my soap box now.

Good luck!

Thanks, man. I should be moving within a few months, and once I get settled in, I'll give it a shot.

OK, y'all. I just got a $10 gist card from LL Bean that expires on Fri. I'm thinking of getting these. In Black (of course) Am I becoming an old man? Remember, I am under the influence of medications.

So, should I?

Apparently this song was "vindictively directed at the former band members," but I'm still going to dance around like a cheerful moron whenever I hear it....

You've done it all, you've broken every code
And pulled the Rebel to the floor
You spoilt the game, no matter what you say
For only metal, what a bore
Blue eyes, blue eyes, how come you tell so many lies

Come up and see me, make me smile
Or do what you want, running wild

There's nothing left, all gone and run away
Maybe you'll tarry for a while
It's just a test, a game for us to play
Win or lose, it's hard to smile
Resist, resist, it's from yourself you have to hide

Come up and see me, to make me smile
Or do what you want, running wild

There ain't no more, you've taken everything
From my belief in Mother Earth
How can you ignore my faith in everything
Coz I know what Faith is and what it's worth
Away, away, and don't say maybe you'll try

T'come up and see me, to make me smile
Or do what you want, just running wild

Come up and see me, make me smile
Or do what you want, running wild

Come up and see me, make me smile
Or do what you want, running wild

Awesome. Here are some discussions on allergies. For me, the pluses of having the little dudes around make it well worthwhile to have a stuffed up nose every few months while they shed. And I can avoid that if I simply keep 1 room rabbit-free during that time.
