Okay, so there are a bunch of current local bands that remind me of old established bands, that is the theme.Pretty basic. Some are obvious, some probably only make sense to me, but they are all good tunes.


I was helped in the compilation of the comparisons by a small directed raid on smcd's CD collection.



Purple songs are by the established bands, brown are the local bands that inspired me. There were many more, but I decided not to push my luck. biggrin.gif

This was a really great idea that made for a fun CD. I finally got to hear the World's Greatest Sinngers and they were pretty fantastic. I still haven't got to the end of this (I'm slow on such things) but I need to as I can finally hear the Mercy James Gang. Yay!
