Or pick it up today on Newspaper stands. There's a really awesome picture of him in there as well. It's an honor to have been a part of it. If he only knew....... |

This came out really well. I'm glad they alotted it the space it deserved. RIP Jimmy and kudos to all involved in keeping Jimmy's memory alive.

"You don't pick the music, the music picks you".
Painfully true. Punk rock really saved a lot of lives, mine included. A very sad obit, but beautiful at the same time. |

That was well done, especially because little of the gibberish I spouted was used. The conversations with his parents were great and I haven't heard from Damian since he had his kid.

Anyone who's done the NB mix trades in the past - look through your piles. Jimmy found the time to do a mix, which I found when I was moving a month ago. I saw that it had a good tracklisting and I popped it in, and sure enough, it skipped. I thought it was rather fitting.
I never knew the guy, but it seems he's now at peace. |

That's a really nice piece of writing. I never knew the man, but reading that made me mourn him. I hope he's found peace.

cool that it came out on the day of the Queers show..and that someone hung it up in the mens room!
Hell, if Jimmy couldn't be there..cool to pay tribute to him there. (the show...not the mens room) |

``Prozac and conformity will not grant you a perfect life."
Fuckin A! I'd say the guy made his mark. They're gonna gnaw away at you one drop of blood at a time. Might as well live and die your own way as much as you can. To me his life and death make sense. His suicide note. His writing. All of it. I think it's great that his family understood him. And his Mom and sister singin along to I Wanna be Sedated. hell yeah. that's an inspiring obituary. |

"I made it to 35, achieved most of the goals I set for myself despite adverse odds and have nothing left to look forward to except the ravages of middle age with the same list of mental disorders that don't get any easier with time."
Damn, I hadn't realized that there was a note. From my one day of knowing Jimmy, from my perspective, I think he was looking for something new, a way to survive. He was a big kid, with talent. I hate that there is no more Jimmy Reject. |
