what I'd want would change from day to day, but, you can't go wrong with a couple of baked stuffed shrimp or stuffed mushrooms to start, homemade fried chicken with mashed potatoes, spinach and a big glass of iced tea. strawberry shortcake for dessert.
Tonight I'm making dinner for my brother and his wife, last week was his birthday. We're having his favorite, Roast Beef, gravy, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Rolls and an ice cream cake from Cabots for dessert. |

Hmmm...
I like food. All kinds. So it's hard to narrow it down. Let's see.... A salad of bitter greens with grilled pears & beets, and goat cheese. Seared duck breast MR w/ a savory (maybe walnut & blue cheese) bread pudding, and some grilled asparagus. A dense cappacino/chocolate cake. To drink: An IPA and maybe a nice single malt scotch for after dinner. |
