Gold was my favorite Boston band in 2003. Saw them quite a few times, got to jam with Morgan once. It's rare to see so many musicians on such a small stage, and rarer still for so many musicians to leave sonic room for each other. I would make a comparison to Lasagna, each layer is delicious, you can eat layer by layer or many layers at once. This lasagna was made with guitar. Yum!
