SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The boss just called to say non-essential personnel can stay home. Actually since I got my job I've always said that if you looked up non-essential in the dictionary you'd see my picture. Anybody want banana pancakes? |

Got the same call! I'm quite excited.
I think it's illegal NOT to have a cocktail on snow days. Off to the booze cabinet! |

i got the call last night, but still had to check in to "make sure". I'd have rather known last night, so I wouldn't have wasted last night with an early bedtime

I wonder if my boss could tell that I was not getting ready for work when she called and had, in fact, fallen right back to sleep after shutting off my alarm when she woke me up.

I forgot to set my alarm and my boss called at a time that I normally should already be on my way. Looks like my laziness saved the day! |

If you think about it, EVERYONE is non-essential in the workplace. In the broader picture, anyone in any position is replaceable. I found that thought extremely liberating. |
