He does seem a bit off his game at the moment.

1 out, men on first and second. Totally out of character.

Might as well mention that Phil Hughes is pitching a no-hitter through 6 innings against the Rangers.

Just took Hughes out...looks like a leg injury after throwing a pitch. 6-1/3 innings, 84 pitches, no hits, three walks.

I'm listening to the radio at work so I may be totally wrong, but I could have sworn they said when Coco made that awesome catch one of the A's left early and scored.

It's actually a good thing that Pap blew a save this early in the season. He's a stellar closer who is a key factor in why we're doing so well (and will continue to do so). Having a few scars will help him in the long run, and keep him working hard.

He may be. Initial reports suggest that he may have to just go to sleep for the night, but when it comes to the Sox, you NEVAH know, right???

Wasn't there a promise that he wouldn't be the closer, again, this year?

Didn't even notice if it did happen. He was going to score no matter what since Crisp had to dive for the ball, but maybe he did jump a bit early.

That catch, though, was almost as sweet as the one Crisp made against the Mets last year.
