Just heard the record last night. Its real good, his best record in ages. 14 songs in just about 1/2 hour with great hooks, nice clean production, arrangements sharp and to the point. (Great song titles too, you can find 'em). It's the kind of fully focused record I was hoping he'd come around to making (I was not a big fan of the post-GBV solo stuff-- the Keene Brothers record is the only one I've really liked in the past few years).

High expectations now for Tuesday's show-- especially since the album's so short and he has room to play all the GBV hits he wants.

Sounds like there will be a few GBV songs in the mix.

Excellent - can't wait. I may end up missing all of or most of Big Dipper, unfortunately.

I can't keep up with Pollard's output, still haven't listened to one from last year.
