maybe.
though to clarify I lived in SE mass @ the time and went to a catholic HS in the area...not RI

and here's an entry for said 1st band courtesy of as220's archived ages on the internet archives:

"The Vibrosonics are a three piece rock n roll outfit hailing from Providence, Rhode Island. Influenced by the likes of Johnny Thunders, Chuck Berry, and the Rev. Horton Heat, guitarist and vocalist Danny G makes up in stamina what he lacks in technique. These kids can tear it up all night long. Handling the bass duties with equal aplomb is one Billy G, a greaser in the finest tradition. One look at "RockaBilly" Garneau will take you back to 1957. But to really rip, you gotta have a good backbeat. That's left up to the lady-killer of the band, Adam Rounds. Behind his trendsetting style and womanizing ways is a rhythm machine who bashes out the beat in the mold of Charlie Watts, Jerry Nolan, and Slim Jim Phantom. He's all killer and no filler. "

haha...oh to be young and have dreams...

I had just moved here from Dallas, after being away for years. I had a new condo in the suburbs and I wasn't going out much. I didn't want to play with my old bandmates and I didn't know anyone else.

It takes a long time to feel like you fit in around here, particularly if you're not living in the city.

End of sophomore year of college. Just got together with the man who would become my husband. Filled with post teen angst.
