Game on.
Rotoworld: A source close to Brian McNamee told the New York Daily News that the trainer gave the Justice Department's BALCO investigators vials with traces of steroids and growth hormone, as well as blood-stained syringes and gauze pads that may contain Roger Clemens' DNA. McNamee's lawyers wouldn't say that was the case, though they did say they had evidence linking Clemens to performance enhancers. "This is evidence the government has that we believe will corroborate Brian in every significant way," said McNamee lawyer Earl Ward. |

All Clemens has to say is that the blood came from when he got shot up with the B-12 etc., not with steroids. He can also say that he didn'y know what McNamee was injecting into his ass, he may even say McNamee shot him up with HGH etc. without his permission to set him up for a book deal or something. Unless a 3rd party saw Clemens get hit up with steroids, there is no way to prove he did it. |

If there are traces of the controled substances in the same blood without any b-12 in it Clemens is screwed here. Part of the analysis of the samples would contan relatives amounts of substances detected not just presence. That doesn't explain away your set up theory. However if Roger's prints are on the vial.... even a partial.... that would be indefensible since I beleive McNamee also testified that Roger supplied the roids in several instances. |

Yes, if there are prints on the vile, he needs to explain this somehow. McNamee is a scumbag, I've always felt he was in this thing for the money. |

We still don't know if Pettitte ratted him out either. I read somewhere he wasn't happy with Clemens' vehement denials.

Clemens has flat out denied ever taking steriods, pointing to a lack of a third ear in the middle of his forehead as evidence. |

If McNamee was free lancing here, then that's on him, not Clemens. |

Implicit in the denial is the "knowingly" component. If McNamee was free lancing here, then that's on him, not Clemens. The burden of proof is reasonable doubt. Will a jury find it reasonable that a world class multimillionaire athelete allowed a shitbird trainer to inject him with substances that he was not intimately familiar with? If Clemens were a tad more stupid and a tad less egotistical, they might. But Roger is smart and a prick, and I think, when the perjury charges are filed (I'm assuming the big lummox is going to lie to congress), he's screwed. |

Those guys were like woobie and boobie for years. I also read that Andy and Roger weren't as good of friends as they let the media believe (made for a nice story, but not really true), and he'll roll on Roger because he has no loyalty to him. Then the Fat Rocket is FUCKED. |

It's his word vs. the word of a broke, corrupt ex-cop, with resume issues, and date rape issues. Clemens' lawyers will tear this guy apart. |

What makes you think Clemens is gonna start blabbing like a broad to Andy.? ...Real bad boys move in silence. |

Everyone remember that the testimonies in front of CONGRESS are what are important. Judge, jury, all that shit doesn't apply yet.
