Looking To Start "311" Tribute Band

Reply to: ........
Date: 2007-11-19, 6:52PM EST

To any rockers interested...pay fuckin attention. Im 23 and my boy just sold his equipment and tore apart our band. Im startin fresh. I wanna put together a sick 311 tribute band. I'll be taking care of SA's vocals, but i need every other piece to complete the puzzle. The only thing mandatory is whoever is gonna go after Mahoneys position, you must have the proper effects and EXTREME knowledge of anything he plays. I want to start asap. I got a place to practice as loud as we want, and Im lookin for the long haul to eventually branch out into our own shit. If u even have the slightest possible interest of thinkin you can man up to this challenge, call me, Matt @ 774-328-1006.....ASAP!!!

We should call him to audition, but try out on the wrong instruments. And obviously having never heard 3/4 of the songs.

Translation - "I'm a broke wigger living in my mom's house and I'm not creative enough to write my own raps, so I'm going to ape the worst band of the 90s."

when i was 'in college' (read: getting wasted and sleeping in random dorms at Umass Dartmouth 6 nights a week for 4 years), all my friends worshipped this band. i could not for the life of me understand why. all i could think whenever i heard a song was 'damn. this sounds exactly the last song'. they were the linkin park that happened before linkin park...
