You might ask, what happens when a band gets a bad review and responds ? Well. This...

First read the review-

Then read the response

ooff. bummer. it's hard for bands when they leave the basement.

so here are the points:

1 the chick can sing, which seems important to the band. band wins. (+1)

2 the reply wasn't anywhere near as humorous as the non-review. band loses. (-1)

3 they are totally tasteless and cheesy and it's hard to be as funny as a critic when you're totally tasteless and cheesy. band loses. (-1)

4 Seven Years Past is 508 metal. can't blame the reviewers for that. band loses. (-1)

final score below:

reviewers 0. band -2.

game over.

How does the reviewer gain or loose points? Seems your scoring system hasa flaw. smile.gif

yes, it's truly a flawed system. i should lose a point. but at least it's one-sided! the band always loses.

This is NOT true. Humans are flawed, therefore, Music is flawed because it is created by humans. Therefore any system used to measure it is flawed. However, since this statement was created by a human it is flawed so it must be untrue; So therefore your system of measurement is perfect as is all music. confused1.gif wacko.gif wallbash.gif

found sound is not created by humans, sounds from nature......

but then again, if a tree fell in the woods would it make a sound if there was nothing there to record it?

To be fair, their response was about a thousand times more lucid than I expected. And they're right - people LOVE bad music. I don't question in any way that they outdrew all the other bands combined.
