Well, this driver in the video was riding the bike like a mad-person. I don't think you'll be going around hair-pin curves (with oncoming traffic) and turns at 130 mph. No worries.

It was 130 kph, but still, that's fast.

The guy was a reckless idiot. It's a shame that it was the other biker that got hurt.

I've seen idiots do this crap on Route One - wheelies, weaving in and out of cars going about 90 MPH. I just think you know "you're going to die - and probably so is someone else" Just pure stupidity.

Motorcycle-motorcycle crashes are rare. It's almost always motorcycle-car, and it's almost always the fault of the car's driver. I can't ever recall the driver of a car getting killed in a mc/car accident.

Every so often you see someone engaged in crazy antics, but that's fairly rare. It just sticks in your head because it's so over the top.

True like the moron on Route one who slammed on his breaks in heavy flowing traffic in the right lane to get into the left lane to do a u turn at an interim turn. I was almost hit by two cars behind me, the guy in front of me almost creamed him - all because he wasn't intelligent enough to go up to the next light and do a u turn.

You have to wonder....

Stupid is as stupid does. And Smcd's comment is totaly correct . I think I've lost 2 friends out of many rider friends that were actually at fault.A few more if you throw in alcohol, but usually the auto drivers fault.

It's actually not that bad when it occurs. The video someone posted of the pedestrian getting run over a few weeks back was several times worse.

You know what would be a pretty great motorcycle crash to have on video?

Any one (or more) of these "Loud Pipes.." assfucks who rumble through my otherwise quiet neighborhood (just off Rt. 3a in Woburn) at all hours of the night, during the Summer.

I would love to see video of them wiping on a rotten possum carcass and skidding their way in to road-pizza-dom/a life of permanent paraplegia.

Ignorant fucking assholes.

What would make that video awesome would be a "pac man dying" sound effect at the very end, when this idiot nails the other biker.

You live down the road from me. Actually, my next door neighbor may be one of the culprits. He owns a Harley and cranks that thing all day. I will say that he goes easy on the engine in the early morning but not all the time. I don't get the whole Harley engine thing. Maybe it is a desperate need to assert manhood and vigor amoung the 50-60 something set.

Loud pipes save lives. Absolutely true. I have quiet bikes and loud bikes. I've never been cut off in traffic riding a loud bike.

However, you have to be smart about it. Keep the rpm's down in the early morning and at night. Don't go racing through residential neighborhoods a 1AM. But many people are too stupid to do this, and it's creating a backlash. Many cities are passing laws stating that you can't install aftermarket exhausts, which is a very bad thing.

Too many ignorant assholes.
