I have some wine but no "Bodies". Damn. People can slag the Pistols all they want (calling them The Monkee's) but this tune is more rippin' than anything off of "Funhouse". |

Also, I probably put myself in a corner with the "Funhouse" reference. That album is probably the top 5 rock albums of all time. Shame on me. |

"Headquarters" is total genius, and its followup "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, and Jones, Ltd." may be even better. I might give the nod to "Headquarters", though, since I really love Micky Dolenz's drumming on that record. He'd only been playing for about a year! But anyway, the whole Pistols/Monkees thing is just Malcolm McLaren spouting off bullshit as usual. |

I could be wrong but it might've been Mr. Rotten complaining about the Pistols after he had PIL and saying it was like being in the bleedin' Monkees.

Fuck it all and fuck her fucking brat, She don't want a baby who looks like that I don't want a baby who looks like that Still one of the best songs of all time. I have a live cut somewhere where Rotten sings "I don't want a baby who looks like me!" The Monkees rule! The remastered "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, and Jones, Ltd" is fantastic, with some very cool (and listenable) alt.versions. Funhouse- you haven't lived until you've waded through a few dozen versions of "TV Eye" etc on the Funhouse Sessions CD. Nice, and each one is different. |

The singer sounds just like Rotten on the record and the bass player has the thug-like Steve Jones backup vocals down. Sounded great....where they hell was I that night? |
