"It was the deadliest shooting rampage in American history"
How can the 33 dead be the worst massacre in US history? How is a "shooting rampage" different than a "shooting massacre" ? Does a "rampage" entail only one shooter? Because there are certainly cases where more than 33 people got killed by gunshot. Indian Massacres/Settler massacres Rosewood many more |

Maybe "rampage" implies "one guy snaps" rather than a planned assault. |

That's funny....I've been questioning that myself.
I think when they say "American History" they mean "Since television news and the media in general has become nothing more than bullshit infotainment with a thirst for blood and hunger for human tragedy." As always, don't listen to me. I know nothing. |

From what I've heard, the VA gunman was calm and methodical in shooting the collegiates.
Doesn't sound like much of a rampage to me. |

Totally relegates the civil war to footnote status in the book of American violence.

Glad you posted this. I was wondering yesterday where we stand in the world as far as this kind of shit goes. People snapping and taking out large amounts of people. I couldn't think of anything else like this happening anywhere else. I am sure it has, I just can't think of anything. |

" Many local civilians also joined in the chaotic battle, having brought along their own weapons, as the Russia's regular conscript soldiers reportedly fled as the fighting began.[26] The civilians claimed that the local police also panicked, firing in the other direction.[27] At least one of the armed volunteers is known to have been killed. How many dead in IRAQ?
How many dead in DARFUR? How many dead in AFGHANISTAN? We talk about this shit on here, yes, but my customers in the shop never mention or talk or even seem to notice the above. Yet, of course, something happens within our own borders and that's all I hear about. Is it because the others are political issues? Fuck, man. Fuck. We really all are fucked, aren't we? |
