I'm not surprised. The cabbies know all in the area. See,there's plenty to do in the area. I just stick to the safer ones like the library. I knew rusty g's would turn out bad... I hang out and have hung out and some of the sketchiest fisherman/biker bars ever, and yet I am NEVER going back to Rusty G's, which is now called "Willy Topps". MARK MY WORDS: someone will be killed there before the year ends. Every dirt merchant who had been barred from the Tavern on the Bridge now hangs there. And it has serious organized crime backing methinks. |

Anthony's Athenian Corner has belly dancing Thursday - Saturday and great food. Take it from somebody who knows...the Olympia kicks the Athenian Corner's ass!!! But yeah, the belly dancing is sort of fun! Go to RRRecords on Central Street and check out the vinyl there. YOu'll feel like you're back in 1983...and it's cash only!! As someone said, check out a Spinners game. cheap and you might see a future Red Sox star! And the Asian food is to DIE for. Check out the Southeast Asian. My fave!! Go on a canal tour. it's a blast to see how locks on a canal work!! The Textile Museum is pretty cool too. Don't know if the (Old)Worthern is a hip and cool place to go to still. maybe someone else can verify. If you're stuck, you can always go drinkin' in the Dracut State Forest. good times! |

I have tried to go to RRRecords about 2 dozen times, all different times, all different days. Always closed. That guy can kiss my ass at this point. As I mentioned... my cambodian/laotian/african coworkers feed me pretty good for free... I'm more concerned with finding a place where youngish people not aspiring for a murder rap hang out. Museums are well and good... but not for a regular hangout... I STILL haven't hit the Worthen... need to. |

Wish EVOs were still open, even though the Hidden had mixed experiences there...
