1.Spiritualized- On Fire
I chose this song because i think it is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. The entire album is great. He sings a lot about Drinking and religion. i think these are two things that I cope with in my life too and they seem to touch these subjects well.

2.Unbunny- Massachusetts

This is a one man band named Jarid Del Dio. I went to high school with the guy and have always liked his music. I was working at a radio station and came across a CD named Unbunny, not knowing it was him, Fell in love with the under produced quality of the music. It was not for a few years until I realized that it was the guy I went to school with. I always try to have people listen to his songs cause I find once someone hears one they want to hear more. He has a way with his lyrics that it seems like they should rhyme but never do.

3.Firewater- Psychopharmacology

I've just always liked the name of this song.

4.Tubring- Living With Rene's Head

I discovered this band when the Keyboard player E-mailed me. Apparently we have the exact same name (a very uncommon name) He was surprised to learn that we both played the same instruments. He has worked with Mr. Bungle and I have always liked them as well.

5. Ween- Mister would you...

You just have to have ween on mixes, it is required. This is not one of my favorites but I put this one on anyway.

6. Granddaddy- Now its On
7. Paddy Casey- Fear

While working at a record store I got this cd from a promoter. i have NOT a clue who this guy is but I love the quality of his voice and the sort of industrial flavor he puts on folk.

8. Thanks to Gravity- Pachelbel's Canon

This is a NH band, see NH isn't all metal. Hearing this some up tempo with drums and fast violin is great.

9. Super Furry Animals- Rings around the world

Just a stupid well written pop song

10. The Monkeys- Listen to the Band

I grew up listening to this band and they are one of the reasons my 3rd grade mind wanted to learn piano.

11. The Langley School Music Project- Space Oddity

I had been a musician for a long time when I heard this album. It was recorded in the 70's by a elementary school chorus. All the music, singing and instruments are played by them (except for the rhythm acoustic guitar, that is the teacher) This album makes me remember that music doesn't have to be perfect and the feeling behind it is more important. David Bowie has said that this is his favorite version of his song that he has ever heard.

12. Neutral Milk Hotel- Two Headed boy part 2

Every mix must have a NMH song.

13. The Fall- L.A.

I wanted to put these guys on since I think they have the minimalist punk down. very simple stuff yet the repeating rhythm pulls you in.

14.Goldfinger- If Only

another poppy song. I have just always liked the lyrics.

15. Circulatory System- Yesterdays world.

If the Beatles were doing Beatles music today, this would be it.(yes I know people say that about everybody)

Had a listen to this and was pleasantly surprised to hear Rings Around The World as a hidden track in the middle of the CD!

You made a balls of the tracklisting on the disc, boyee!

If by balls you mean, I suck at spelling and stuff. YES, I suck.

Hey, I really liked that Fall track. I enjoy how it practically has two repeated lyrics of "L" and "A" throughout. Good stuff.

I think Unbunny is still making records as far as I know. I remember the WUNH folk going nuts over him on his first release and 'Massachusetts' was one of those songs that made it on the air... repeatedly. Same thing for Thanks to Gravity.

Hearing the Langley School track made me wish my music teacher was as daring as that back in the day.

That is right.. I forgot you went to UNH. I always use to play Mass by Unbunny on WUNH. So you can blame me for that.

Yes Unbunny is still making CD's. He just released a new one.. last month??? or so. I have not had a chance to pick it up yet.

Mr. Senator, this is some good shit! I love the Unbunny song, and Psychopharmacology. There's nothing on here I didn't enjoy at least a little. Pachelbel's Canon sounds great, usually these type of reinterpretations of classical pieces come off cold, but this one really works. You get much respect for having the guts to put a Monkees song on your mix, and it's a good one that fits in very nicely.

Excellent job.

I also hate it when groups do covers of classical stuff, However they sort of readapt the song and make it their own. Plus I just love the bass in that song. It isn't complicated but it is just so nice.

The monkees never get enough credit. So they were the 60's version of Manli Vanilli, they still had some great songs. This one was actually written by the guy in the hat, mike Nes(something or other)

Damn you, Whatley! Damn you to straight to hell!

It was bound to happen... the inevitability of finding the mix that will not allow you to move on to the others in the trade. The perfect mix. This happened to me last time with Miz Valentine's Extravaganza. As a result, I still haven't finished listening to that stack and I fear the same trend is developing this time around.

I hope you're happy!

I actually spent hours of research determining what music you would like and how exactly to fuck up your enjoyment of the other albums. I created flow charts and graphs to insure that I could crete the perfect mix that would get you hooked from start to end.

I think if I had to do it over though I would pick a different Neutral milk hotel song.
