last night it was what...130 degrees and humid?

My wife had to make cookies for a shower they are having at her office this afternoon...well...she didn't HAVE to, but I think the shame of bringing store bought cookies to her office was too much for her to bare.

So she makes them from scratch...no tubes of cookie goo or even a box of mix went into these babies. Nope, Bree Vandecamp would have been proud of these chocolate chip prizes.

All morning I have been jonesing for the little spheres of goodness, and when I open my lunch bag, packed with love from my wife I discover...THERE IS NO LOVE!

All the little vamps are her office are partaking of the cookies and there are none for me.

I had to confront her on the issue...I say...huh, thats weird, I keep looking in my baggie, and there is no cookie...

she says...its not weird, its invisible...just like the calories!

certainly this is some sort of abuse...right?

Fuck the haters! When my girl was in a super-hard one year masters program and had insane hours between school and internships and studying, I'd pack her lunch. Then when the tables turned, I got my lunch packed for me. Nothing wrong with that.

I always make enough dinner for my husband to have for lunch the next day, and yes, I tupperware it right after dinner. I also baked him 4 dozen CHCH Cookies for his birthday. bleh.gif

It's pretty cook that your lady packs your lunch, but, I suppose a cookie or two would have been nice. Maybe she's got heat exhaustion from the baking.

I would and have packed lunches.

But I totally would've given you a cookie as soon as they were done. Mostly because I hate cookies but wouldn't've wanted to give them to my coworkers without someone tasting them first to be sure they were good. Much like its the man's job to smell the milk to see if its bad, its the man's job to taste test cookies and anything else I don't like eating.

1) wife packs lunch

2) husband complaining about contents of said packed lunch
