I consider myself an agnostic rather than an atheist because I think it is as equally difficult to prove that God exists as it is to prove God does not exist (or for that matter to disprove any other supernatural abstraction). Name one unproven supernatural abstraction that actually exists. |

Einstein was a weird smelly old guy who married his first cousin. He wasn't a particularly nice guy. Just ask his first wife (who was actually more interesting than he was). Unless you were a physicist, he'd bore you to fucking tears. But he did become a pop culture icon, so that kinda makes him fascinating to dullards. So go ahead, pretend that Einstein was and awesome guy. But that makes you kind of a dope. To wit: Einstein's views on God = not interesting at all. elk's minor fascination with Einstein = mark of a not very active mind. Martin Doyle = Good Albert Einstein = Bad Your value system is a joy to mock. |

People who believe in God are often too foolish in too many other aspects of their life to be taken seriously. Some people know they're being ridiculous and don't care because they like the tradition and community more than the absurd notions being spewed. I can get on board with that. It's the nutjobs who actually buy the story that ought to be marginalized. Unless you're a very rich person, those very same God-fearing people you look down on pretty much run your life. |

Name one unproven supernatural abstraction that actually exists. Have you personally proved the existence of physical phenomena, or do you take other peoples' proofs on faith? I'm not a scientist, so I take 'em on faith. But I'm hoping to receive an electron microscope and a linear accelerator for Christmas, so that might change (assuming Santa grants my wishes). |

God made you an idiotic douche. God doesn't exist. I guess that means, you think I'm an idiotic douche. But you're the one who uses the noiseboard as a psychological meltdown dumping zone when your fucked up life takes it's nutty turns. So it's all relative. Again, Einstein was right, with that whole "Theory of Relativity" stuff. |

'Evidence' of god cannot be interpreted without the five senses and the capability for reason (a human being).
A 'personal relationship with God' espoused as a necessity by multiple religions requires a human being for that personal relationship. Common thing = human being. Does God exist without people down here on earth speculating about Him? People are necessary for God to exist. We made Him. We are Him. |

People who get all in your face about God not existing think they have something to prove.
Problem is, they're proving that they're weiners. |

Uhhhhh.... ok. When are you going to start mocking it?? Well that post alone reduced you to a cartoonish messageboard fraud. But tell me about your work week and I'll get started if you really do want a public reality slap that will leave you feeling really bad about where you are in life right now.
