I've lived here for 8 months and although it's very pretty I've found VERY little to do for fun/socially.
I've already signed up for the Golden Gloves and joined a Cambodian gang so scratch those. |

If you like Vietnamese or Cambodian food, it's a gold mine! Seriously, I actually do. Other than that, not sure...

You could buy a 90's Honda Civic, spend some money making it look worse with a body kit(preferably with a broken front clip), then some rims, maybe with two different ones on the front, and then a big fart can exhaust, and cruise the town revving at people.

I guess you never heard of the "three L's" in real estate? Lowell, Lawrence and Lynn...never live there. Moved here FROM Lawrence. For awhile I was commuting from Lawrence to Lowell by bicycle. I've been to the brewery but the last day I tried to go they were closed for what seemed like no reason. Last time I successfully went I ended up getting drunk with Seth Putnam. The other night I went to the old Rusty G.s and watched one of the new owners choke a woman behind the bar while high on coke and then I had to pull a bicycle chain on some guy who wouldn't stop harassing me... something I try to refrain from while wearing a heart monitor. Then there's the Copper Kettle where I'm the youngest patron by, oh, 30 years. I eat tons of vietnamese food and african food, but it's all brought in to me by coworkers... |

Hell yeah. We'll terrorize people.....revving at old people, kids at playgrounds, or scaring people in crosswalks, and then find a McDonalds parking lot to hang in. You do like McDonalds right? I think Taco Bell would be a little better - especially if you're not Mexican. |

not the wildest music but sumthin' to do http://www.lowellsummermusic.org/page.php?page=root/home.htm ANNOUNCED SHOWS This is a lot of fun. We used to go all the time because each year they would have this phenomenal ABBA and Bee Gees tribute band. Its held outside in this really cool little ampitheatre. You bring chairs it was $5 and had a great time. Now they moved up the acts and charge around $20 and the acts aren't my speed usually. But if you like the bands - check it out, its an easy going (sober no alcohol) night and pretty fun. |

Hell yeah. We'll terrorize people.....revving at old people, kids at playgrounds, or scaring people in crosswalks, and then find a McDonalds parking lot to hang in. You do like McDonalds right? Word, I live next to the one on Mammoth Rd. Tonight this trashy girl I work with: A. Told me how her kids' father, a bouncer, still beats her regularly, B. Repeatedly told her mother to "go fuck herself" on the phone in the office in front of our entire mortified staff, C. Suggested that she and I get beer and hang out at my place and asked if she could be "one of" my "girlfriends". So I guess I DO have my options, |

I asked a cab driver if that place was "safe" (because it's one of the gnarliest looking bars I've ever seen) and he said "Oh yeah, no one will bother you in there. They have like private rooms so you can do whatever you want and noone will see you. We used to do tons of blow. No problems. I've never seen a cop in there." !!! |

I'm not surprised.
The cabbies know all in the area. See,there's plenty to do in the area. I just stick to the safer ones like the library. I knew rusty g's would turn out bad... |
