Not local - In-N-Out with honorable mention to Red Robin

Local - Wendy's for fast-food, Sunset for sit-down (there's 2 Sunsets, I guess that counts as a chain)

Not a chain but one of the best burgers in town - U Burger

Red Robin

there is one in Sutton which is pretty close to the metro-west crowd. I've been a couple times and give it a big thumbs up.

Actually, Red Robin is local now...there's two, one at the Blackstone Valley shopping area in Millbury and another just off of Exit 7-8 in Plymouth/Kingston.

I agree with your other sentiments though!

Millbury...and while not quite as good as rudfuckers...thank god for the place because its one of the few places I can bring a year and half old to and not be embarrassed.

Plus from there you are but a few minutes drive from this place, well worth the visit:

The Elm Draughthouse Theater, Millbury

If it's the same place I'm thinking of, then Wild Willy's just opened a joint in Worcester. Haven't been yet, but my friends all say good things. Supposedly they've modeled their operation after the In-N-Out?

I used to date a girl who lived next to Purgatory Chasm. If I was smart, I would've tossed her in, while I had the chance.

The one I went to was in watertown, it doesn't look like it tough, unless they haven't updated their site yet

I just went to the Shake Shack in NYC for my monthly burger. It was great. Then I read this and I think I'll go puke now... http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/27/weekinre...amp;oref=slogin

Wild Willy's is a small chain. I think there is only about 6 or 7 of them. I read an article that said it was based off of In N Out but it's really more like Fudrucker's, which is cool because I love the Fudrucker's. I have been there twice now and gotten the BBQ burger and a small onion ring both times. The onion rings are sooooo good. That is all.
