So the MFD/Doberman/Failfest/'Hoods/TMax/Coughlinathon was the catalyst for the purges, huh?
Fitting. |

So the MFD/Doberman/Failfest/'Hoods/TMax/Coughlinathon was the catalyst for the purges, huh? Fitting. It really is. Hobot and I were very much of the mind set that mods shouldn't be steering the board. There are some things that are way over the line and needed to be dealt with, but more times than not if you just let something run it's course, it will peter (heh, peter) out and people will move on. We fought with Lady E and Bluestreak over this for a long time. Eventually Lady E became an invisible mod (I guess you could call her the girl with the curious hand). Invisible mods was something else we had to fight against. So for the better part of 2+ years Hobot and I tried to be very hands off, when things would get out of hand we would try to just talk to the person first, and only would issue bannings or suspensions when those warnings were ignored. This wasn't really a problem for most until that shitfest. Some people wanted something done, Hobot and I both felt that as per usual it would run its course and people would move on. T-Max has decided that isn't how he wants his board run. It is his board, and he has every right to run it the way he sees fit. If he wants to have a tea party in his living room, that is his prerogative, but I have no desire to be miss manners correcting every one in the room when a member of the hoods gets all chappy because 3 people make a negative comments during a 100 page circle jerk. Further, I have no desire to do the dishes after. Like I said before the noiseboard demise has been predicted more times than I can count, and I doubt this will kill it either. It will be different though. |

It really is. no it isn't. if that were true you wouldn't have banned martin, and you both would have actually discussed stuff with us instead of stonewalling for months, so let's not play the cronyism card, all that was asked was some dialogue, but your minds were made up, as are many, that it'll just be a certain way now. and everyone will see that's not that the case at all. |

Cough, was this when you wanted to be the super secret mod, or just the secret mod? I don't see any where in my previous post where I played the crony card. Let me know if you do. |
