I thought the whole cast was great except for the lead guy.

I've seen the commercials but the premise of the show seems too retarded to watch.
Dude's in a coma. Dude's gonna wake up in 3-5 seasons for the series finale. ![]() |

I've got an old T-shirt that has a planet logo and says Life on Mars. A friend of mine's ex husband was in a band around here in the 90's with that name. Reeves Gabrel and his wife Sarah would pop in once in a while and he'd jam with them.
Anyway........back to the show. |

It's his own psyche so it's interesting. Harvey Keitel and Michael Imperioli are excellent. |

Well it's a Bowie song, and in the current he's listening to it on his CD and when he goes back it's still in his car stereo except on an eight track... |

I know Reeves lived in the back bay at the time and they both rehearsed at the sound museum in the so. end. My friend and her husband also had a little food concession in there called "Lil Chesters"......named after their awesome doggie Chester. Anyway.......he's a really nice guy. |

I liked it a lot
The funniest thing for me personally is Michael Imperioli was dressed just the way my father used to dress. One day my dad came down from his bedroom wearing a pink suitjacket and green pants. It was hidious. Good thing my mom was around to straighten his color blind ass out We used to call him CAPTAIN CRAYOLA. This post has been edited by ray fernandes: Oct 10 2008, 05:39 PM |

I am having a flashback of tacos, little debbie cakes and Joe Bonni at sound museum. It was around that time that Reeves (post tin machine) was recording the Bowie "Outside" album. I when remember he came over (down the hall) to lay down guest solos on my OBE tracks back around '94. He had recently gotten this weird noise overload "boogie" ring modulator-ish pedal that he cranked up, remarking that it was too weird or noisy or trashy for Eno and David. So of course I was like, it's perfect for OBE. Back to our regularly scheduled program... ahhhh... the 70s.... LIFE ON MARS can be seen ONLINE over here: http://abc.go.com/primetime/lifeonmars/index?pn=index of course the hardcore fans will prefer the orig UK version, but for a COP SHOW... pretty far out. Always great to see Michael Imperioli & Harvey Keitel anyway anytime. useless trivia: Rick Wakeman played the piano on the LIFE ON MARS Bowie tune. |
