I cannot believe the trash talk that are coming out of the mouths of Giants fans about The Pats and the fans....Saying how arrogant, classless, tastless and obnoxious..Tom Brady and classless doesn't even belong in the same sentance..wtf,,4 months ago NY was about to send Manning and Coughlin packing..now because of a hail mary pass and a lucky grab by a 3 string 'receiver' they're heros now??? granted they played a great game but their team will never get back to the SB again..it was a lucky break when their kicker missed 2 field goals and got a 3rd try to beat Green Bay..who SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN!! ..and the Giants aren't even from NY, they play in fuckin Jersey!

You need a better understanding of the concept of a metropolitan area. Giants Stadium is probably closer to City Hall than Kennedy Airport is. |

to quote Platoon:
'Shut up and take the pain!!!' worrying about this loss is foolish as our run is STILL going on. the giants are the new buccaneers. |

Ah, the players where all talking the "end of the dynasty" and all that too. No biggie, Let them have their day. Apparently they seem to forget that they barley made it past the regular season.
My friend's GF sent me a pic of her with a HAND WRITTEN "18-1" T-Shirt. I assume in an attempt to piss people off. Just seemed weird. I mean, I am sure she is pscyhed her team won the SB, but her displying the Pats incredible season on her shirt is supposed to get to me?? And I agree with many others about Pats fans. I saw many mouthing off before the game, apparently forgetting that we almost lost to the Giants during regular season. As a sox fan I never say shit until its in the bag!!!!! three Super Bowl wins in four years. Winning on Sunday would have absolutely cemented it, but still pretty damn impressive. Oh, and the Giants and their fans can crow all they want, when you win you get to do that. Just out of curiosity, are you one of those sox fans that couldn't stop gloating about the Sox toppling the Yankees' dynasty? |

Christ. I wonder what his reaction would be if someone actually hurt someone he loved. |

Just out of curiosity, are you one of those sox fans that couldn't stop gloating about the Sox toppling the Yankees' dynasty? loved every moment of it. I understand that football fans who don't like the Patriots are ecstatic at the results of Sunday night. I really have no problem with that. Very much like life in general these things always go full circle. Boston fans have had quite a bit to gloat about in the last six years or so but anyone who is realistic knows it can't last forever. Sunday night was coming our way sooner or later. It's part of being a sports fan. |

Gee, I thought only Boston had sports fans like that. Reading that just makes you feel so good about the warm, cuddly New York fans who get to revel in the demise of the big, bad, evil Patriots. What a hopeless, front running scumbag. |

There are throngs of "classless" sports fans in any city/market. Trash talking/gloating/etc .. all part of the fun of being a fan ... especially a fan of the team that just managed what could very well be the biggest upset in pro sports history. Shouldn't be a big shocker, and we've certainly indulged in the same here in New England/Boston. I hate to say it, but the big, classless Superbowl move belongs to Bill Belichick for leaving the field with one second left on the clock at the end of a horrible loss. Not to mention not having it in him to throw some props in the direction of the Giants in his post-game. He has been a disgrace in all this. |

Not real sure about that. Most of the Giants team is very young and just getting started. I hate to say it but they could be around for awhile. There's definitely some strong similarities between this Giants' team and the Pats 1st superbowl team. Giants have a damn good young QB and a lot of young talent on both sides of the ball. I said this in another thread, but I was expecting this Giants team to be a competitor in maybe another year, more likely 2 or 3. |

Yeah, the NFC is still the weaker of the two conferences so it wouldn't surprise me at all to see the Giants in Tampa next year. Actually I would love to see a rematch of last Sunday. I think it might be harder for the Pats to get through the AFC. It really depends what they do in the off season. |
