That looks yummy. I recently made a grilled cheese and added cranberry chutney. So good.

that sounds fuckin' great - !
nothin' against that / any soup, but a grilled cheese w/tomato is fine, dark bread even better
besides, a) i don't see any oyster crackers, which is blasphemy, and b) there's other stuff in that soup, look more like minestrone 'r sumthin... whussup widdat?

A) Not a fan of the oyster cracker in my soup. Figured the bread used for my sandwich/panini was perfect for dipping and crunch. And I did plenty of dipin'!

B) From the taste and looks of it, the chef very likely used Rotel tomatos (canned) which come with green chiles. In addition, there was rice in the soup too.

I'm actually making a grilled cheese with cheddar, mozzarella, avocado, tomato and cilantro. Tomato soup on the side and pretentiousness all around.

I'll allow all the shit you're putting in there, though the cilantro is pushing it a bit. I just can't have chutney. Fuck that shit. DENIED.

Chutney is awesome. A friend (hi steph) gave me a gift of a homemade batch a couple of years ago for Christmas. I was new to it and I was totally hooked. So tasty with turkey and pork and well grilled cheese sandwiches.
