JamSpot, New England's largest provider of fully equipped professional rehearsal spaces, has just opened a brand new location 1 minute off of Route 95/128 in Wakefield. Just like the original JamSpot in Somerville, the new JamSpot offers a range of large, comfortable, sound-proofed, air conditioned studios, each fully equipped with guitar amps from Fender, Marshall and Mesa, bass rigs from Ampeg and Hartke, acoustic guitar amps from Fishman, 5 piece Yamaha drum kits with Zildjian A & K Custom cymbals and Aquarian heads, full PA systems and even FREE in-room CD recording systems. And the best part is: all you have to do is show up, plug in and play. Comfortable, convenient and hassle free.

Rates begin at $10/hour for solo practicing. JamSpot Player Rooms are $25/hour weekdays before 6pm and $40/hour weeknights and all day on Saturday and Sunday. We also offer block rate discounts for both daytime and evening/weekend hours.

We're open from 10am to midnight every day. For more information and directions please visit JamSpot.com or give us a call at 339-219-0274 or email Wakefield@JamSpot.com.

JamSpot in Wakefield is located at 14 Teal Road, Wakefield, MA 01880 (Adjacent to the Sheraton Hotel off Exit 42 on Route 95/128) tel. 339-219-0274, email Wakefield@jamspot.com

This place sucks. We dropped $400 bucks for ten hours, until we figured out that we can't put a band together under the gun, while the clock is ticking draining our wallets at $40 bucks an hour. While we were there, they yelled at us for eating in the room, and didn't even thank us for taking all the money we had. What did we pay for but a room with gear we didn't need because we own all our own gear anyway.

Needless to say, we saved up for another month, and moved into a permanent space that is actually costing us a lot less by the month, than for 1 day at jamspot. I suggest anyone in the same position that needs regular rehearsal space look for permanent monthly space instead of this place. Just do a search engine search under rehearsal space and the state you are in to find out where they are.

afinemess, music gym is just as bad and you know it. We are in a pro complex north of the city and paying a fraction of the cost that music gym and jamspot charges, and it's our own secure space and no having to share with another band either.
