no, not stripping or waitressing...although the latter isn't ruled out entirely.
i want a 2nd job for the next few months.
in your experience, what's the most lucrative and what to avoid? especially retailers to avoid.
i, for one, would never recommend Trident booksellers as a place to work. no matter how delicious their cashew chili is.

there are lots of mall events going on leading up to XMas, I mean like fashion shows & crap, where they need help decorating mini stage sets & fluffing XMas trees. If you can find an event company that does this they pay well.

I worked part time one year for seasonal help at Crate and Barrel - they paid more than most retailers with like a 30% discount. The people there were great. Really helpful and fun to work with.

Joe Riot has worked at Whole Foods for years (originally at Bread & Circus though). I get the impression he hates it but he's still there so it can't be that bad.
