I just had cable installed. The house had never been wired for cable before. So I made the guy real late for his 3 PM. He called somebody else to get it started though. He couldn't even finish my job so he has to come back and do the upstairs. They actually gave a shit about time and worked with eachother to get things done. I was amazed.

Well, don't I feel like the asshole. He got here at 10 to one, and just left. He sprayed and removed a yellow jacket nest from my cable box on the house, and made sure to fix some weird ass problem with the levels, and was very nice too boot. Although he turned down my offer of iced tea.

Not a fan of Ice Tea at all. Will drink snapple but if it is homemade I would pass on it too. I would imagine they are trained not to accept drinks from the customer if it isn't in a sealed container.

I would imagine there are some pretty great horror stories circulating around the cable guy camp fire. Some true. Some untrue.
