was visiting some friends in portland and randomly saw this band
(semi-randomly as one of my friends was doing the sound for the venue) missed all the other bands, but caught this band and i got really into it anyone ever heard of these dudes? theyre playing the middle east on thurs |

yeah. i saw them a bunch of times. i liked them a bit at the time but never bought their records and honest to christ i couldn't tell you what the sound like now. i should revisit this.

did this band play with the peechees a lot? for some reason i associate those two together.
that band (peechees) were fucking killer live. |

I saw them, like, maybe almost 10 years ago at the Paradise and liked them enough to buy a CD, but I haven't really listened to it a ton since, though. I remember at least one tune being good.

I dig the mints...but I think it's because the first time I saw them I was tripping...thus resulting in buying one of each color of the same t shirt...im sort of surprised they are still around, they had only put out 2 albums at the time. Hmm this may be a show to check out.
