I'm a graphic designer for a sign company. I was asked to come up with some ideas for a new logo for an old fashioned ice-cream parlor... I showed the client what I thought to be a classy, clean, bold graphic that I'd designed. It fit the whole atmosphere of their business really well, in my opinion. They rejected it and instead opted for the most disgustingly unoriginal, foul clip art in the world. I'm nearly vomiting working on this stupid project.
It sucks to see something go from beautiful to trashy and not be able to convince the client that they have no fuckin' taste. |
